Regenerated 2026-06-12 with a corrected (normal-operator) diagnostic: 912 of 1000 candidate compositions are non-normal and out of the diagnostic's scope; of the 88 valid ones, 6 are genuine counterexamples - all mild (worst gap ratio 0.21), all schrodinger/laplacian mixes. The earlier "907 safe / 93 counterexamples / fails on Neumann" numbers were largely artifacts of scoring non-normal matrices.
